Made You Look - Maidstone

Made You Look is a shop with some really solid artists. Artists @danwilkz and @madeyoulook_finn provide the bold traditional goods, and @ellaturnertattoo takes a more delicate, fineline approach. Check them out for some serious talent!

 

Moth and Flame - Bromley

Moth and Flame is a shop that covers all bases. With Japanese-inspired work by @jameskeithtattoo, illustrative nature pieces from @yasminaferrertattoo, bold trad from @benny.smallstattoo and black and grey realism from @jason_james_tattoos. A one stop shop if we’ve ever seen one!

 

EAST SUSSEX

 

1770 Tattoo - Brighton

1770 is a studio with a great range of artists: new wave tribal artists like @treubhan who draws inspiration from ancient Celtic and Pictish artwork, as well as @francesco.capro who creates some of the boldest tribal around. Handpoked graphic designs from @adamsage13, and colourful psychedelia from @aliceofthedead. They even have some wicked Japanese work from @mie_tattooer and @alexneweytattoos. 

 

Dead Slow Co. - Brighton

Speaking of shops with range, Dead Slow in Brighton is home to some of the most unique artists around! From the childish joy of @mr_heggie, to the bold colour blocking of @fcukinghellkirst. Micro tattoos in incredible detail are created by @blackcatfriday, and @markfordtattoos makes sketchy, illustrative tattoos. There's many more artists in the shop too, as well as regular guests!

 

WEST SUSSEX

 

Botanical Ink - Bognor Regis

Botanical Ink is a private studio that is described as a safe space. Tattooist Kat (@kat_tattoos_) creates delicate floral designs, or more ornamental pieces, in a clean and friendly space. 

 

HAMPSHIRE

 

Black Lantern - Swanwick

Black Lantern is home to a group of very talented artists. Josh Marks is one of the best traditional artists in the area, Nathan Smith creates clean realism and script work, Lee Bunker is an illustrative artist who also dabbles in geometric and ornamental work. Dan Berry creates bolod Japanese-inspired and neo-traditional work, and Pete 'the thief' is another very solid, black and grey realism artist. It's one of the best studios around, so be sure to check them out. 

 

Hijinks Tattoo Club - Portsmouth

Hi Jinks is a studio that offers a great range of work, from clean traditional work created by Sam Lloyd (@acidbathvampire) and a more neo-traditional take from Dougie (@dougietattoo) to bold woodcut inspired illustrative work from Connor Tyler (@connorkingrat), they are a studio with a lot of skills onboard. 

 

BERKSHIRE

 

Long Story Short - Reading

Long Story Short is another great shop with great range! From bold as neo-traditional designs by Jordan Skye, to impeccable realism by owner Ben McClay. This studio is also home to two great illustrative artists: the colourful Carla Rogers and blackwork artist Benjamin Priestley. Check them out for all your tattoo needs in Reading!

 

OXFORDSHIRE

 

All Yours Tattoo Co. - Bicester

All Yours is one to watch. A private studio in Bicester, ran by artists Millie Rawicz and Emma Cranston, this space will be opening in the next few months. Emma Cranston creates solid traditional designs, and Millie Rawicz is a pro at fineline, illustrative work. Keep an eye on this new studio!

 

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

 

Gilded Dagger - High Wycombe 

Gilded Dagger in High Wycombe is a studio with a lot to offer. Owner and artist Eloise Maxime (@eloisemaxiimetattoo) specialises in fineline illustrative and dotwork designs. Artist Jodie Eliza is a colour specialist, creating great character designs (@jodieelizaink) and Rebecca Victoria provides the neo-traditional goods @rebeccavictoriatattoo).
