Apply a thin layer of foam to your new tattoo and gently massage in a circular motion.
Rinse with cold or lukewarm water. Pat dry with a paper towel and allow to breathe. Follow with the Aftercare Cream. Use 1 - 2 times daily for 28 days until your tattoo is fully healed.

Is the Aftercare Foam Cleanser fragrance free?
Yes. Like the Aftercare Cream, this is fragrance free and built specifically for compromised, freshly tattooed skin. No fragrance, no sulfates, no soap.
How does it work?
Standard body washes contain sulfates (SLS, SLES) and fragrance that strip the skin barrier and sting fresh tattoos. The Aftercare Foam Cleanser is a soap-free, sulfate-free foam that lifts away plasma, ink residue and bacteria without disrupting the healing surface. Bulbine Frutescens Leaf Juice (a South African botanical with documented wound-soothing properties) calms the skin while it cleanses.
When and how do I use it?
Use it as your tattoo wash from the moment your artist removes the dressing, twice a day for the first 2 to 3 weeks. Pump 1 to 2 doses of foam onto a wet tattoo, work gently with clean fingertips (no flannels, no loofahs), rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel, then apply Aftercare Cream.
Can I use my normal shower gel instead?
We don't recommend it. Most shower gels contain fragrance and sulfates that will sting and strip a fresh tattoo. The Aftercare Foam Cleanser is formulated to clean without irritating the wound surface.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The formula is hypoallergenic, soap free and free from common irritants. It's been used by customers with eczema, dermatitis and rosacea on tattooed areas, but if you have a serious condition, check with your dermatologist first.
How long does one bottle last?
The 150ml bottle lasts most customers the full 2 to 3 week healing window for a medium-sized tattoo, sometimes longer. Larger pieces (full sleeves, back pieces) may need a second bottle.
Can I use it on healed skin too?
You can, but for healed tattoos we recommend the Exfoliating Body Wash, which adds gentle AHA exfoliation to keep ink looking sharp.
How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?
Healing times vary between people. Factors that can influence how quickly your tattoo heals include the type of tattooing you’ve had done, the size of tattoo, and potentially its location e.g. if you get a tattoo on an area of constant rubbing like an ankle on a shoe, this may impact healing. A good aftercare routine is another important factor in ensuring your tattoo heals as quickly and healthily as it can.
How long does delivery take?
